DAY ONE - Tribute Dinner

Tuesday, November 10, 2015, 5:30 pm

Moncton Coliseum Agrena Complex

 

AN EVENING OF RECOGNITION AND REMEMBRANCE

 

  • Formal black tie, evening dress.

  • Doors open at 5:30 pm for General Reception.

  • VIP Reception is at 5 pm in the Legends restaurant.

  • During the reception, guests can tour military museum exhibits and special displays from our region and see the restored military vehicle collection. 

  • During the dinner, historic vignettes will be presented under the direction of Marshall Button and performed by the Capitol Theatre Group.

  • A moment of silence will be observed in respect for our fallen.

 

DAY TWO - Remembrance Day 

Wednesday, November 11,  2015

Moncton Coliseum Agrena Complex

12 pm - 4 pm

 

  • Display areas will be open to the public coordinating with the Legion Remembrance Day services held in the Coliseum.

  • Live performances will be held of the historic vignettes.
     

  • Display areas will be open to veterans and special needs guests from 9 am-10:30 am November 11 on prior arrangement.  To book, call the Dinner Office at 506-857-4254.

DISPLAYS

 

The role of the military in our communities is an important part of our heritage. The service of our men and women in uniform is an exemplar of the values and ethos of our country.

 

The purpose of the display areas is to educate the public on our rich and interesting military history and showcase the contribution of our local people who have served.

 

 

MUSEUM DISPLAY

Exhibits have been sourced from the NB Museum in Saint John, Military Museum in Gagetown and the 8th Hussars Museum in Sussex.  Other displays from regional veterans organizations will also be shown.

 

 

MILITARY EQUIPMENT AND VEHICLE DISPLAY

SPONSORED BY TOYS FOR BIG BOYS

Our team of vehicle restoration experts have sourced military vehicles and equipment from around our region to be on display. With the cooperation of the Canadian Forces, we also expect to display modern equipment used in present-day campaigns.
